In this article we will cover a lot of information about vaginismus and some things you can do to reduce its symptoms.

What is vaginismus? Dr. Martha Lee, a clinical sex therapist in Singapore, says that vaginismus is a tightening of the vaginal wall when something (such as a penis or an internal scan device) enters a woman's vagina without her control or consent. It is said that her lungs tighten her eyes due to the voluntary gratification of her stylistic walls - the erection of the penis,.

For many women, this is an unexpected turn of events. The pain she experiences unexpectedly during sexual intercourse is caused by the tightening of the muscles around the vagina.

According to sexual health experts, "vaginal sensitivity, especially the pubococcygeus (PC) muscle group, is something that women are unaware of but cause more pain."

Depending on the degree to which she is depressed, having sex can be difficult, painful, or even impossible.

Women with vaginismus describe it as "a burning sensation or a tear in the muscle that feels like it 'hit a wall without entering the penis."

The Ministry of Health does not conduct a census of women with vaginismus, but it is estimated that between 20 and 30 cases occur each year.

This condition is said to be the leading cause of sexual dysfunction in many marriages. Without proper treatment, this can lead to marital discord and even divorce.
